To reduce resource consumption and prevent health and safety risks, Isolab has implemented a comprehensive Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) management system. Since 2016, our system has been certified to ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) standards, ensuring compliance with the highest industry regulations.

Sample Handling & Integrity
- Samples are handled with care to preserve their integrity.
- Samples are correctly labeled and registered to ensure traceability.
- Proper storage and organization allow easy retrieval and prevent loss or contamination.
Accurate & Reliable Analyses
- Each sample is analyzed using methods appropriate to its nature.
- All equipment used is suitable for the specific analysis.
- Analyses are conducted by trained professionals with the required expertise.
- Both methods and equipment are regularly calibrated to ensure accuracy.
Data Integrity & Transparency
- Analysis results are processed correctly and securely stored.
- Results and their methodology remain traceable.
- All reported results are free from financial, time, or external pressures, ensuring total independence.
Confidentiality & Data Security
- All client information is handled with strict confidentiality.
- Samples, data, and any related information are destroyed upon client request.
- Samples won’t be destroyed without explicit client approval.
Client Trust & Ethical Standards
- Clients can trust that the data they receive is accurate and reliable.
- Only analyses that yield valid results are invoiced—ensuring fairness and transparency.

Gifts & Hospitality
- Modest business gifts and hospitality may be accepted or offered only if they are reasonable, transparent, and not intended to influence business decisions.

Conflicts of Interest
- Employees must disclose any personal or financial interest that may create a conflict with Isolab’s business integrity.

Reporting & Accountability
- Employees and business partners are encouraged to report any concerns or suspected misconduct confidentially and without fear of retaliation.
- Violations of this policy will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination and legal consequences.

At Isolab, we are committed to minimizing our environmental impact while ensuring a safe and healthy workplace for our employees, customers, and visitors.
Our Commitment

- Compliance & Standards: Adhering to all relevant occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as other commitments endorsed by Isolab.
- Certified Management System: Maintaining an HSE management system in accordance with ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001:2023 (Occupational Health & Safety) to drive continuous improvement and actively engage our employees.
- Training & Awareness: Ensuring our staff receive proper training to perform their work safely, prevent illness, injuries, and accidents, and contribute to our environmental goals.
- Sustainable Resource Use: Reducing environmental impact by optimizing the use of water, energy, gases, and materials (aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 3.9).
- Renewable Energy: Where possible, purchasing or generating renewable energy (Sustainable Development Goal 7.2).

Scope: This Human Rights Policy applies to all Isolab B.V. employees, directors, temporary staff, interns, and contractors, and guides our expectations of business partners, suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders.

- Grievance and Reporting Mechanism
Employees and other stakeholders are encouraged to raise concerns related to human rights without fear of retaliation.
Concerns can be reported through:
- Direct discussion with management
- Confidential internal reporting channels
All reports will be handled confidentially and investigated appropriately.
- Implementation and Responsibilities
- Management is responsible for implementing this policy.
- Employees are expected to comply with this policy and applicable laws.
- The policy will be reviewed periodically and updated where necessary, in line with VSME reporting requirements.
- Transparency and Continuous Improvement
- Isolab commits to transparency in its sustainability approach and to continuous improvement of its human rights performance, proportionate to the size and complexity of the company.
