Hans Eggenkamp (Ph.D)

Senior stable isotope scientist

Hans studied Geology and was specialised in Exogeneous Geochemistry and Radioanalysis at Utrecht University. Hans obtained a PhD in Stable Chlorine Isotope Geochemistry at Utrecht University in 1994. After his PhD he was Post-Doc at the University of Reading in the UK. When he returned to the Netherlands, he took an assistant professorship in Stable Isotopes at Utrecht University, followed by an appointment at Isolab where he was responsible for most gas and liquid chromatography applications. From 2008 until 2022 Hans was Senior Research Fellow in the field of Chlorine Stable Isotope Geochemistry at different European universities. In 2023 he returned to Isolab where he became responsible for research and development and the isotopic analysis of gas samples.
